Global suffrage is a whole 'nother field -- in 2011 Saudi women were FINALLY granted the right to vote but not until 2015! <br /><br />I recommend "Women Won the Vote: The Triumph of the American Woman Suffrage Movement" by Robert P. J. Cooney. The best-known documentary is "Iron-Jawed Angels."<br /><br />BUT did you know that a well-known quiltmaker/writer was very active in the suffrage movement?
